Indian ink on paper, Size: 150 x 220 cmThis drawing brings together and superimposes representations of different bryophyte species discovered successively as the artist explored the forest’s undergrowth of Combel du Frau (Lot area, south-west France).
By playing with size and scale and by extending some of those representations as if they were a pattern, this drawing allows for a singular vision of this place and its lush vegetation where mosses proliferate, intertwine and become entangled.
